Just arrived in HOTLANTA at the marvelous w hotel perimeter. I am in love with the fluffy bed, the nuanced white on white interior, the welcome cupcakes, but the piece de resistance here is the magnifying mirror affixed to the wall. I adore a magifier. It puts me into tweezing nirvana. I immediately get to work noticing all of the strays that I have missed during book launch week.I also suffer from the 5 inch brow syndrome which often leaves me resembling phil cohen, my unibrowed grandfather.  The problem?  I am blind without glasses. Left brow? Perfection. Right…not so much. Huge hole and a bit of a zig zag motif happening. Thank god for my trusty lancome brow pencil.

BUMP IT UP was born this week! At long last my preggo style bible hit shelves. I must say, the book writing process is much like pregnancy finding the right agent ( staring at FIRST RESPONSE…is it happening???), writing the proposal (nausea), selling the book (jubilation-I am showing!) , rewriting the book (hemorrhoid hell) and then waiting until D Day. New moms get gifts, I get book sales!!! I am heading out on a tour and will bring you some coast to coast cool as I hot the mean streets of Atlanta next week.
