I am a troubled sleeper. Always have been. Rather than drugging myself nightly with Ambien, I try to concoct a cocktail with amino acids and herbal roots to deliver the coveted sound sleep. I have tried Melatonin, Valerian root tea, 5 HTP and a Whole Foods sleep aid called DEEP SLEEP. Results vary on my type A–ness that day.
