I then trotted over to PICKLES & ICE CREAM where I worked my model, Astyn Davis, into a seriously fierce and feminine look for my event. Who needs coffee to re-energize when there is a Sprinkles cupcakes in Dallas? I sucked down a RED VELVET and sauntered over to the Frederic Fekkai salon to have my tired tresses whipped into a chic Giselle meets Krystal Carrington look.

Mayor Richard Daley’s Department of Cultural Affairs held a soiree in the Publisher’s Gallery of the city’s Cultural Center featuring chic local designers Susanne Siegel, Sophia Forero and JKAT jewelry. Yours truly walked off with a bauble that would have matched the bravado of her bump (but I’m not preggers!).
